Belucio De Araujo Luiz Augusto, far right, an undergraduate student from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, participated in an 8-week long Summer Engineering Research Internship for US Students (SERIUS) programme.
He was attached to our group to experience first-hand catalysis research. During this short time, we explored new research ideas pertaining to tuning Ni-based catalysts for methane pyrolysis for hydrogen production, with a special focus on understanding carbon nanotube formation.
